Nasi Goreng literally means fried rice in Indonesian. It is a very popular dish, sold everywhere from portable street food cart to high-end restaurant. It is cooked with spices and accompanied by egg and shrimp or chicken. In 2011, it was named the number two dish of the 50 tastiest foods in the world by CNN.
